Craig Connelly & Nicholas Gunn feat. Alina Renae – Miss You

Genre: Uplifting Trance

Grab your tissues everyone, we’re kicking this week’s NMF on a super touching tune. Trance maestro Craig Connelly joins Blue Dot boss and all-round prodigy Nicholas Gunn to release what’s perhaps the most beautiful Trance tune we’ve heard in a while: ‘Miss You‘, alongside Alina Renae.

Straight-up tear-inducing. There’s no other term I’d rather use to coin this release. It’s what you would expect from two artists of this calibre joining forces, but it’s honestly crafted in such a flawless manner I truly, truthfully can say, I got to crying businesses far earlier than I’d thought. As a fun bit of trivia, this is Connelly’s second release after getting married to the love of his life, Ally. Congratulations, you two!

Crusy – Hey Girls, B-Boys

Genre: Tech House, Techno

Toolroom never disappoints. Mark Knight’s imprint has become a leader of the House and Tech House sounds for decades, often trailblazing and shaping the core elements of the funkier and groovier corners of Dance music for years to come. That’s why we’re excited to share the news: Spanish icon Crusy has just landed yet another signing on the label. And it’s quite the monstrous one.

Hey Girls, B-Boys‘, is a nod to the past, with a clever and refreshing touch. Machine-programmed, dry drums are all it took for Crusy to craft a banger, but he went one step further. He sampled the iconic ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl‘ voice, to make of his banger a very memorable one. Sing along to the lyrics wherever you are, and whenever you please. Here we go!

Ferry Corsten & Silva City – Chaos

Genre: Trance (Old-School)

Under such a simple name, ‘Chaos‘, you wouldn’t imagine just how lovely this track is. And the thing is, along with ‘Just Breathe’, this one is arguably the most Trance-inducing record of Ferry Corsten‘s ongoing LP, Connect. Think Golden Age. This record is precisely that. Add to it this track is a collaboration with Silva City (the Old-school Trance alias of Alan Fitzpatrick and Reset Robot), and you have a future classic.

The melody is so simple, and the nature of the track is stripped-back just like the old days. A few elements which all play such a key part in the picture, that’s the philosophy here. The main lead is an evolving saw pluck, backed by magical old-school percussion, snare rolls, delayed crashes, rolling basslines, and harmony companions.

Tiago Dima & Will Vance – Air And Darkness (Gobi Desert Collective Remix)

Genre: Downtempo

A few weeks ago, we featured the original debut collaboration between Will Vance and Tiago Dima, which is a lovely Melodic House record. This time, ‘Air and Darkness’ sees a lovely Downtempo adaptation from the hands of Gobi Desert Collective, an Antwerp-based DJ/Producer duo with a knack for impactful music.

This remix tastes just like it said on the box: GDC really gave the track an Ethnic-sounding spin. The end result is thought-provoking, deep, and has your back on those busy days when you get to the end of your shift and want nothing but peace. This song delivers that very dose of tranquillity.

Wax Motif, Truth X Lies, AK Renny – 212

Genre: Tech House

Australian-born, LA-based DJ and producer Wax Motif is back with ‘212‘, a Tech House anthem released via Cr2 Records. Teaming up with NYC duo Truth x Lies and Bass DJ + rapper AK RENNY. Wax Motif delivers an infectious beat that masterfully blends House, Electro, and Hip-Hop elements. An ode to the undeniable energy of New York City’s iconic area code, ‘212’ captures the gritty yet vibrant pulse of the bustling metropolis in a way that only this powerhouse trio can.

‘212’ is a bold and boundary-pushing offering, propelled by minimalist, yet powerful production centered around a relentless bassline. AK RENNY’s sharp verses add a striking edge. Making this track an undeniable standout on any playlist or dancefloor. With its innovative approach and genre-blurring sound, ‘212’ demands attention and leaves a lasting impact.
