Skrillex Drops High-Energy Collab ‘Duro’ With Young Miko

Skrillex has released ‘Duro,’ a new collaboration with Puerto Rican rapper and singer Young Miko. The track marks another step in the producer’s ongoing exploration of Latin music influences, following his Grammy-winning work with artists like J Balvin and Bad Bunny.

Young Miko, who emerged from Puerto Rico’s urbano scene, brings her signature flow and bilingual delivery to the production. The 25-year-old artist has been gaining momentum in both Latin and mainstream markets, recently performing at festivals like Coachella and collaborating with artists including Karol G and Feid.

For Skrillex, ‘Duro’ continues a prolific run that’s seen him release dozens of tracks since his 2023 albums Quest for Fire and Don’t Get Too Close. The producer has increasingly worked with Latin artists, producing tracks for major urbano stars and incorporating reggaeton and dembow elements into his sound. That approach earned him multiple Latin Grammy nominations alongside his traditional electronic music accolades.

The collaboration arrives as electronic producers continue bridging EDM and Latin urban music, a trend that’s reshaped both festival lineups and club playlists over the past few years. Skrillex’s willingness to work outside traditional electronic music circles has kept him relevant across multiple genres, from dubstep and bass music to pop and now Latin urbano.

‘Duro’ is available now on streaming platforms.
