Major Fire Destroys German Nightclub, Evacuates Hundreds With No One Injured

A massive fire tore through the widely popular K Club in Kehl, Germany, in the early hours of Sunday, March 29, 2026, forcing the emergency evacuation of approximately 750 patrons. The blaze broke out around 3:45 AM at the venue, which is situated in an industrial area near the French border. Despite the speed at which the fire engulfed the entire structure—eventually breaking through the roof—local police and emergency services confirmed that all guests and staff were able to escape safely.

The evacuation has been praised by local authorities for its efficiency. According to witness reports, announcements were broadcast in German, French, and English to accommodate the club’s international clientele from nearby Strasbourg. While no serious injuries were reported, three individuals were treated on-site for shock and stress-related symptoms.

In a statement released via Instagram, K Club management expressed relief that everyone was “safe and sound,” attributing the successful exit to the “professionalism and responsiveness” of their security teams.

The damage to the venue is extensive. By Sunday afternoon, Kehl city authorities confirmed that the structural integrity of the building had been compromised to the point that most of the facility would need to be torn down. Approximately 80 personnel from the fire department, police, and medical services attended the scene, and investigators are currently waiting for the site to be secured before entering to determine the cause of the blaze.
