Bad Bunny took the stage on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Wednesday night to perform his new single, “Te Deseo Lo Mejor.” Pre-recorded on a small stage in front of a patchwork curtain and glowing lights, it was the perfect backdrop for the alt-rock breakup track.
The song appears on the Puerto Rican star’s latest album, El Último Tour del Mundo, surprise-released in November. It serves as the follow up to YHLQMDLG and Que No Iban a Salir, both released earlier this year.
Most recently, the star canceled his American Music Awards performance after testing positive for coronavirus. He’s recovered since then, telling Corden he “feels great” prior to the performance. Corden later asked Bad Bunny about being named Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2020. “Obviously, I’m so happy and grateful,” he said. “It’s crazy because just a few years ago I was getting excited when I would get 5,000 plays.”
