Hailing from the vibrant Bronx, New York, and currently calling Toronto, Canada, her creative home, Adonay’s latest musical endeavor, “Dream On Endlessness,” is an immersive journey that transcends conventional boundaries. Born Adonay Encarnacion, her artistic roots delve deep into her early years, where ballet became the initial strokes of her creative canvas at the tender age of 4. This foundation in dance laid the groundwork for a unique voice that would soon resonate across genres. Graduating from Homestead Sr High, Adonay further honed her skills at the prestigious New World School of the Arts, where she embraced ballet, modern dance, jazz, music composition, and theater. The synergy of her diverse influences began to manifest in 1998 with the “Buffalo Gals Stampede Remix,” a collaborative effort with Malcolm McLaren featuring Rakim. This marked her inaugural foray into the music realm, setting the stage for a multifaceted career that would unfold over the years. Her artistic evolution continued with private vocal lessons under the guidance of Gil Magno and a dedicated pursuit of dance at the Miami Conservatory of Ballet. Adonay‘s journey took an expansive turn in 2001 as she earned an Associates of the Arts degree, venturing into acting and singing while mastering technical aspects of entertainment, from film production to audio and video technology. This period also marked the inception of her venture, Future Media Broadcasting & Production, in 2007, an enterprise focused on multimedia production, marketing, and business development. Returning to academia in 2013, Adonay acquired a BBA in General Business with a specialization in International Business from Berkeley College. Her diverse skill set and entrepreneurial spirit culminated in a reunion with music producer Chris Anthony in 2020, resulting in the creation of the two-part EP series, “Adonay” and “Adonay 2.0,” produced with the expertise of Roberto Morales at West Sound Recording Studio.
