House DJ and producer Cristoph flew to 99 Scott in Brooklyn for his solo show this past Saturday, February 24, for an intimate all-night set, that was truly a crowd pleaser. Just a few short months ago, in November 2023, Cristoph opened for the legendary Eric Prdyz at Brooklyn Navy Yard, so he was ready to bring good vibes to this 5,000 square-foot venue hosted by recognized house and techno event promoters, Teksupport. From 10pm until 5am, it was apparent that the crowd surely didn’t not want him to stop — with that, Cristoph kept the party going until they told him he had to get off the stage. Combining his styles of house, techno and progressive, his set was unique and fun — and let me tell you, the crowd was dancing on the beat from front to back the moment “We Don’t Need” started playing. And he just kept going up from there… Playing his own classics such as “Breath,” his remix of The Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition” as the crowd sang along to every word. Also included in his showcase were Jeremy Olander’s smash-hit “Let Me Feel,” as well as his own newer tracks, such as “Illusions” and “Out of Reach” – Cristoph had something for everyone, and his interactions with the crowd all night long truly made the night feel that much more special. Cristoph has been releasing new music non-stop the past couple of months… so does that mean a new album is on the horizon?! We hope so! We’re already counting down the days that we get the chance to see him again in NYC very soon. Check this space for more on Cristoph as it’s announced.
