In 2021, Dean the Dream, the musical project founded by poet Brendan Alpiner, dropped his debut album called Pink Sun, a fantastic collection of 9 songs among which the fan-favorites “Misery ‘N” and the opening track “Hourglass.” Fast forward a year later and Dean the Dream is now unveiling his sophomore LP titled Hitchin’ It To Heaven. This new powerful body of work marks the natural continuation with his first album, as he proves his consistency and strong dedication to the artistic path he had chosen. The Detroit-born artist takes the role of voicing the new generation’s deep concerns regarding important topics like sexuality, violence, freedom or death. Through complex yet simple sonic schemes, Dean The Dream finds his inspiration in rock n’ roll, blues, and psychedelia. He mixes all these genres into his very own soundscapes, enriching the already powerful messages he delivers with solid and fresh soundscapes. The core substance of this album is clearly found in its authenticity and risk-taking approach, Dean the Dream’s signature style which we hope to continue enjoying in the coming years.Dean the Dream Follows-Up On His Debut Album Pink Sun With Sophomore LP ‘Hitchin’ It To Heaven’
