Drake has revealed that Her Loss, the collaborative album with 21 Savage announced earlier this week, will now be arriving later than planned. The album was originally due this Friday, October 28, but will now be released a week later, on November 4. The reason for the delay is longtime Drake producer Noah “40” Shebib contracting COVID.

“Our brother @ovo40 got Covid while mixing and mastering the crack so he’s resting up and NOVEMBER 4th is Her Loss day. We’ll see you soon. ??” Drake wrote in an Instagram story viewed by The FADER.

Her Loss was first announced as part of the “Jimmy Cooks” video, Drake and 21 Savage’s No.1 collaboration from the former’s latest album Honestly, Nevermind. 21 Savage’s most recent solo album I Am > I Was dropped in 2018. This summer he appeared alongside Pharrell and Tyler, The Creator on “Cash In Cash Out.”
