Whether you live for the dance floor or just enjoy good music, this year’s picks have something for everyone. So plug in your headphones, crank up the volume, and dive into the ultimate remix journey of 2025 from EDMTunes. We hated leaving some remixes out. Big shoutout to these gems: Linksa’s ‘Bad Boy’ (GENESI Remix), John Summit’s ‘Light Years’ (Matt Sassari Remix), Lane 8’s ‘Wake Up’ (Robby East Remix), Lane 8 & Kasablanca’s ‘You’ (Le Youth Remix) and Proff’s ‘Love on a Real Train’ (Tangerine Dream Cover). Coming on the 15th spot is legend John Summit, Sub Focus drum and bass ‘Go Back’ the Kyle Watson Remix. Watson takes this track and gives it a darker, groovier edge. His remix layers deep bass with crisp rhythms, turning the track into a hypnotic club weapon. At #14, Anyma and Layton Giordani turn Shakedown’s classic ‘At Night’ into a haunting, melodic journey. Dark grooves meet ethereal layers, making this remix a perfect late-night anthem. One both Anyma and Layton Girodani have been rocking through their sets this year. Agent of Time transforms Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Why Do I Have To’ into a hypnotic, progressive masterpiece. The remix builds tension with layered synths and driving rhythms, creating an immersive journey from start to finish. Alok’s remix of ‘Focus’ gives John Summit’s track a whole new personality. The original leans into a deep, driving groove with that signature Summit energy, perfect for late-night sets. Alok reimagines it into a more atmospheric, festival-ready vibe—brighter synths, layered textures, and a punchier drop that feels built for big stages. It’s less underground and more euphoric, turning a club favorite into a peak-time anthem. HNTR’s remix of ‘Stephanie’ gives Cloonee’s track a completely fresh edge. The original thrives on playful, rolling rhythms and cheeky vocal chops—perfect for a high-energy club vibe. HNTR shifts the mood into darker territory, adding driving basslines and atmospheric layers that feel more intense and immersive. It trades the lighthearted tone for a deeper, late-night aesthetic that hits harder on the dance floor. John Summit is really killing it right now, showing up once again at Spot 10. He flips Anyma’s ‘Hypnotic,’ melodic pulse into a peak-time club weapon—crisp drums, a rolling bassline, and just enough lift to keep that trancey feel intact. He shows up on so many of our Top 15 remix tracks, whether it’s his own cuts getting reworked or him doing the remixing, and this one is a textbook example of why his sound keeps winning. Cassian reshapes ‘Blessing’ into a sleek, progressive journey with lush textures and a steady, hypnotic pulse. It’s a refined take that feels expansive yet intimate—perfect for setting the mood deep into the night. Subtronics injects raw bass energy into Summit’s melodic framework, turning ‘Crystalized’ into a head-turning festival banger. It’s a daring remix that blends hypnotic house with explosive dubstep grit. Eli Brown recasts ‘Dreamin’ with a ferocious low-end and hard‑edged drums, pushing it into gritty after‑hours territory. It’s one of two ‘Dreamin’ entries in our Top 15—landing at #7 and #6. Sliding in at #6, Anyma takes ‘Dreamin’ and turns it into a cinematic, melodic powerhouse. Our team really loved ‘Dreamin’ and you can see how versatile this track is that with two different remixes on our list. At Number 5 is CamelPhat remixing ‘Act of God’. CamelPhat injects a brooding, progressive edge into ‘Act of God’, layering hypnotic synths over a deep, rolling groove. The result is a remix that feels cinematic yet club-ready, perfect for late-night sets. Inching up to our top spots, we have an iconic track ‘I Wanna Go Back’ from Britney Spears, the John Summit Remix. This remix has been teased on his sets for quite awhile now and we were so excited for the official remix. What a blast from the past with an EDM Spin off. Another blast from the past, not that old but classic track ‘Cola’ from CamelPhat and Elderbrook is back again with a sweet new remix by ARTBAT. Now the mix a moody, progressive makeover with deep basslines and sweeping melodic layers, turning the classic into a late-night weapon. Released in 1997, the original ‘Silence’ y Delerium and Sarah McLachlan became a timeless trance anthem with its ethereal vocals and atmospheric depth. Fast forward to 2025—John Summit and Dimension rip up the rulebook, injecting pounding house grooves and drum & bass adrenaline. What a perfect track for our #2 spot. At our number 1 is Rufus Du Sol’s ‘In The Moment’ Inhale/Exhale, Adriatique Remix. This remix is with ironclad bass, precision builds, and sky‑splitting drops—pure command. Relentless torque and razor focus; total floor takeover from the first bar to the last echo. Definitely a rightfully earned #1 spot in our list. ‘’EDMTunes: Year In Tunes – The Top 15 Remixes of 2025
