Emerging Australian act Caleb Jackson launches his New Imprint with ‘Foreva’

Rising Australian producer and DJ Caleb Jackson launches his label Party Favours with the imprint’s debut single “Foreva” – out on March 6. The single marks a milestone moment for Caleb, bringing his beloved Soundcloud edits to streaming services for the first time, cementing the brand as a space to watch for peak curation and certified groovers.

“Foreva” feels fitting as the first single on Party Favours, featuring resung parts of the classic Faith Evans – “Love Like This,” the house track is perfect for those intimate dancefloor moments you want to last foreva. The release is also being celebrated on Valentine’s Day at his debut Party Favours Day & Night Headlines at Sydney’s world famous Slip Inn & Chinese Laundry.

In Caleb’s words, “Foreva” is my tribute to those especially euphoric dancefloor moments that you get lost in. Living in the present soaking it all up but a part of you wishing it could last forever. I wrote it specifically for Lost Paradise festival as I knew I was playing sunset and wanted to strike a certain chord with the crowd. Needless to say I dropped it exactly after the sun went down and it hit perfectly. So as my first release on my own label it felt right to kick it off with something special.”

The Party Favours ethos that Caleb created is a double-edged turn of phrase that nods to the underlying sense of fun and taboo within our dance scene. At its core, the label wants to keep the music serious, and the dancefloor fun and unserious.

The Party Favours brand has seen Caleb’s edits like David Bowie – Lets Dance (Caleb’s Future Boogie Flip), Outkast – The Way You Move (Caleb’s Fat Bottom Flip), Madonna – Music (CJ’s Majestic Mix), and Shake Shack (FREAKS MIX), which became one of the hyped records of the Ibiza closing parties, with heavy support from Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Green Velvet, Dennis Cruz, and many more.

The release of “Foreva” follows a run of wins for Caleb, including direct support for Michael Bibi in Sydney, and his sunset set at Lost Paradise on New Year’s Eve, where the venue reached capacity and had to shut down entry. Last year, he also was invited to the iconic HÖR BERLIN bathroom for a set – a very strong co-sign from the indie Berlin space and community. Caleb’s upward trajectory and standout music has garnered him support from BBC Radio 1 (Sarah Story’s Future Dance and Danny Howard’s Club Mix), Triple J, Beatport Top 10 EPs, and strong editorial support from Spotify and Apple Music.

With “Foreva” and the launch of the Party Favours label, Caleb Jackson propels forward with these high-impact releases, priming himself for international takeover.
