The London music business conference, FastForward, returns on the 13th and 14th of February at 21 in Soho. FastForward, or FFWD, is a future-facing music business conference aimed at connecting the people driving positive change in the music industry. The event focuses on current issues, pain points, and potential solutions to build a healthier, more robust music industry. Taking place over two days, February 13th and February 14th, FFWD has returned to London for this year’s edition, which is taking place at 21 Soho. This year, the conference covers different topics on either day of the two-day schedule. On the 13th February, the event will analyse “Recorded Music“. Carey has a long tenure in the music industry, including global data roles at Universal and EMI and consulting for Spotify, Sony, The O2 and Hipgnosis songs. Carey also served as the Chief Economist for LIVE, the trade body representing the live music industry in the UK, from March 2020 to December 2023 and is also a mentor for Abbey Road Red.
