Here’s one great track for you to spark your weekend with. We’ve got great news to share with you, as the highly anticipated debut album from Flashmob, Sundown, is rising over the horizon and its release date is getting closer and closer by the hour. Anticipating what will be his greatest work yet, he’s decided to lift the album’s title track, ‘Sundown‘, from the pack, to give listeners a glimpse into the LP. The single is a standout one which perfectly captures the essence of Flashmob’s musical experimentation. Created over four years, the album it belongs to reflects Sandro’s experiences and influences from his decade-long career in the industry. He explains it was born out of a time of uncertainty and stillness during Lockdown. He used this time to reflect on his passion for music and his desire to create something meaningful. The album’s title track, ‘Sundown‘, is a delightful blend of different genres. Everything from Afro, to House, to Progressive percussion, to warm Melodic ideas, to Deep House vocal loops, and even to Breakbeat. It truly can’t be boxed into one particular genre, as it’s quite the unique product. The best way to enjoy this track is without thinking too much, and instead turning the volume up, and closing your eyes. “The time at home alone really gave me the opportunity to stop, reset and then go back to the studio organically and finally make music spontaneously without deadlines, genres nor labels in mind – free from everything“, Flashmob reflects. “So this album is all mine, there are no intentions other than to make music for me and to express the feelings of my love for life and Electronic music”.
