In a surprise announcement today, Destructo teased that the 2027 edition will not just be a return, but a rebirth. “The Final Transmission was a signal, but the ShipFam is a heartbeat,” said Richards. “We thought we were signing off, but the energy we felt during the last year made it clear: Friendship isn’t just a cruise, it’s a necessity. We’re coming back for 2027 with a new mission.” Announced via instagram, Friendship will return to the seas for 5 nights on Jan 17th-22nd sailing from Cabo.
