Hollywood Bowl Will Separate Non-Vaccinated from Vaccinated Attendees

We hate to bring up 2020 again but it definitely was the year that caused every facet of our lives to stop. Even the biggest events and venues in music. Even including the Hollywood Bowl. Despite it being primarily outside, the entire season for 2020 was canceled. The decision happened in the middle of May. But now, in 2021’s middle of May, they’ve announced that the season will take place!

Starting in July the venue will be opened to the public. There are just a few precautions that must be followed. First, total capacity will be limited to 67%. Additionally, attendees will be divided into two sections. One section will include vaccinated persons and another un-vaccinated. Plus, the two groups will be social distant. Non-vaccinated guests will be required to show a negative COVID test along with a photo ID. Patrons who would like to sit in the vaccinated section will need to show full proof that they received the vaccine. On top of that, the vaccinated attendees can be admitted two weeks after they’ve received their second dose of Moderna or Pfizer. If the person received Johnson & Johnson, they will also be able to attend if two weeks has passed since their first dose.

Finally, face coverings are still mandatory for all patrons. Season and single day tickets for for the Hollywood Bowl go on sale on May 18th. There is expected to be around 50 events for this year instead of the normal 70. However, we will take what we can get!
