Iceland Eclipse returns to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula on August 12-15. The glacier, education, and dance-infused festival is capped at a mere 3,333 guests. The event builds around Iceland’s final total eclipse until 2196. It brings music, learning, wellness, and exploration into one focused gathering. The site sits near Hellissandur with glaciers, lava fields, beaches, and waterfalls shaping the landscape. The new Third Contact lineup adds many global and Icelandic names. Captain Hook, CloZee, Ida Engberg, Kenny Dope, and Nick Warren join the Dance program. They appear with earlier acts such as Imogen Heap, Reggie Watts, Booka Shade, MEDUZA³, Nightmares on Wax, Ash Lauryn, and more. On the learning side, new speakers include Ben Nowack, Emily Bilbao, Jason Achilles Mezilis, Ruth Daniel, and Steven Blumenfeld. These sessions explore space ideas, creative technology, climate themes, and new cultural perspectives. The Connect pillar also grows. Android Jones, Ayla Schafer, Chris Dyer, Tinna María Verret, and Zoey Wind lead healing, movement, and ceremony experiences. One of the festival’s signature ideas is The Portal. This is a month-long innovation residency that runs from July 19 to August 15. It acts as a creative village where artists, technologists, astronauts, and cultural stewards collaborate. Participants explore nature, wellness practices, and hands-on workshops. Their creations then appear during the eclipse as the festival reaches totality. Festival passes and lodging are back on sale at icelandeclipse.com. All images provided by Iceland Eclipse festivalIceland Eclipse Festival Drops Third Contact Programming for 2026
