Joris Voorn & Nathan Nicholson Release Beautiful Track – ‘Moon’

Happy New Music Friday! Out now on Spectrum via Armada Music is ‘Moon,’ a stunning and atmospheric collaboration between label head Joris Voorn and vocalist Nathan Nicholson. This track marks the final single ahead of Voorn’s highly anticipated album, Serotonin. The duo previously teamed up on the standout single  ‘You and I,’  which introduced the album’s emotional and melodic direction. ‘Moon’ continues that journey with haunting vocals and rich production—don’t miss it. Serotonin is a 14 track LP filled with Voorn’s most personal and emotionally resonant work to date and will release on July 18th.

‘Moon’ highlights Nathan Nicholson’s expressive vocals, which glide over Joris Voorn’s immersive and textured production. The track blends cinematic ambiance with a rhythmic pulse that makes it equally suited for introspective listening and the dancefloor. Its rich, layered soundscape carries a bittersweet tone—melancholic yet hopeful. Nicholson’s voice adds a haunting emotional layer that distinguishes the song within Voorn’s body of work. True to Voorn’s refined style, the arrangement builds gradually, offering a sense of emotional release. The song’s melodic strength has even inspired piano renditions, like the one by Jarel Gomes, which captures its emotional core in a stripped-back format.

Serotonin

So far Joris has released 10 tracks from his upcoming album Serotonin, each offering a glimpse into the album’s emotional and sonic depth. Songs like ‘Burn’ (with Tom Walker), ‘Seventeen’ (with YOTTO & White Lies), and ‘You and I’ (with Nathan Nicholson) showcase a blend of melodic house, ambient textures, and introspective lyrics. The most recent single, ‘Tomorrow,’ continues this trend with a warm, cinematic feel. Fans can expect a deeply personal and immersive listening experience, shaped by Voorn’s refined production and heartfelt storytelling. Much of which was inspired by his childhood home and even recorded on his father’s piano. And ‘Moon’ today, hopefully you enjoy the voice of Nathan Nicholson.
