If there is any artist in the current world of dance music who has managed to carve out a unique niche, and do it successfully, it is Kayzo. Known for his bass heavy productions, and rock/screamo/hardcore crossovers, his newest production titled ‘Battle Drums‘, continues this trend. In the past, we’ve seen Kayzo embrace his signature sound by producing crossover dance/rock tracks with the likes of Of Mice And Men, blessthefall, and Our Last Night. We’ve even seen him remix Papa Roach’s legendary ‘‘, as well as work with the storied rock band, . Today, we bring you another collaborative crossover tune by the way of Kayzo & Atreyu’s ‘Battle Drums’. For those of you who are fans of Atreyu, ‘Battle Drums’ features all of the characteristics we’ve come to love the Yorba Linda based rock group for. In addition to this, ‘Battle Drums’ contains all of the elements that Kayzo’s diehard fanbase loves him for as well. If you’re not keen on tuning in, just know the drops at both 1:18 and 2:44 are some of the hardest drops I’ve heard all year. If you’re into Rezz or 1788-L, you will definitely appreciate this one. With a run time of 3:29, this is a track that I wish went just a little longer, but nonetheless, is amazing.
