The TNH crew has been over the moon about the “SUPERMAN ID,” Lane 8’s long-teased collaboration with Kasbo. Honestly, the number of times I’ve replayed that second minute in the past 24 hours is excessive. Speculation on the other 11 unreleased gems is wild. Ashibah’s distinct voice is unmistakable around ID7. Earlier in the mix, Jyll’s stunning vocals have me wondering who she’s collaborating with. I can’t wait for that release. Pretty sure there are two Rinzen IDs in here, and I’m sure on appearances from Le Youth, Sultan + Shepard, Massane, and Mryne. This mixtape is pure magic. Beyond the IDs, the mixtape is packed with incredible tracks from heavy hitters like Guy J, Argia, Ninajirachi, Notre Dame, Tame Impala, Luca Abayan, and Dusky. And the remixes? Absolute fire. Helsloot’s take on M.A.N.D.Y vs Booka Shade’s ‘Body Language’ is a standout. Lane 8’s mashup of Jeremy Olander’s ‘Stitches’ with HAAi’s ‘Stylus’ is pure brilliance.
