MDLBEAST, the top entertainment company in Saudi Arabia, is shaking things up with their latest festival, ‘1001’. This latest festival follows up on the success of notable events the company has hosted, including the one-of-a-kind flagship festival, ‘MDLBEAST Soundstorm’. Taking inspiration from the Middle Eastern folktales of One Thousand and One Nights, including fan-favorites like Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, this festival is all about fantasy, wonder, and imagination. Each guest gets to step into a magical world where they become the hero of their own story, exploring an Arabian dreamscape filled with different legends, from the beautiful gardens of Bustan to the stunning sights of Dahab.

‘1001’ Festival explained in summary

At ‘1001’, every detail is designed to tell a story and create a captivating experience. The festival gives a fresh twist to classic Arab folklore, celebrating self-expression, community spirit, and good vibes. While the lineup isn’t out yet, fans can expect a mix of electronic music from some of the best house and techno DJs, along with local talents from the MENA region. Each stage will have its own unique theme, immersing attendees in exciting stories:

The wonderful stages of the ‘1001’ Festival

  • Qafilah Stage: Picture a camel caravan transporting you to a colorful desert oasis.
  • Qasir Stage: Imagine lounging in a fancy palace decked out with golden touches and intricate designs, complete with a DJ booth on the sultan’s balcony.
  • Sahaab Stage: Inspired by Aladdin, this stage looks like a magic carpet, moving around the crowd and creating a fun atmosphere.
  • Dahab Stage: This one is modeled after the Golden Cave from Aladdin, featuring an eagle’s head entrance and sparkling with gold and jewels.
  • Bustan Stage: Inspired by the tale of “Kalila wa Dimna,” it resembles a beautiful garden, with a DJ booth designed like a fancy treehouse.
  • Bizarre Bazaar: Need a break from the music? This area mimics an extravagant Arabian bazaar, complete with a glamorous bar and servers in cool costumes.

The festival runs from 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM, with last entry at 2:00 AM, happening at Binban, Riyadh, on April 24th and 25th.
