In her first job since stepping down from her position as a senior royal with her husband Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has narrated a new Disney show. It has been announced that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has narrated Disney+'s new movie Elephant. In a tweet, Disney+ announced the news as they wrote: “Two new movies, two unforgettable journeys. Start streaming. @Disneynature’s Elephant, narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, and Disneynature’s Dolphin Reef, narrated by Natalie Portman, on April 3, only on #DisneyPlus.” A second tweet about Elephant read: “Disneynature’s Elephant, an Original Movie narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, starts streaming April 3, only on #DisneyPlus.” The film is about an elephant and his mother as they go on an “epic journey” across the Kalahari Desert. It is believed 38 year old Meghan recorded her voiceover in the UK in autumn after seeing footage of the documentary. Disney will be making a donation to Elephants Without Borders; the organisation that helps to track and protect the animals from poaching. Meghan and Prince Harry are currently in Canada with their son Archie, where they will live now that they have stepped away from their positions in the royal family in a bid to become financially independent. Earlier this month, it was reported that Disney had turned down the opportunity to have mum-of-one Meghan star in one of their upcoming movies. A film executive told Mail On Sunday: "Meghan needs Disney more than Disney needs Meghan. "She's a controversial figure. There have been reports of a deal but that's not true beyond the voiceover work." The news comes after Meghan was offered a whopping $1million dollars per second to return to Suits as her character Rachel Zane. German cosmetics company Biotuli has offered a $5 million fee for a five second appearance by Meghan Markle if she was to return to Suits and reprise her role. Biotulin is an organic Botox that claims to reduce wrinkles within just one hour, and according to them, Meghan is a big fan of the brand and has used its products in the past. Kate Middleton, Michelle Obama and Leonardo DiCaprio are also said to be loyal fans of the anti-wrinkle gel, with Karl Lagerfeld allegedly giving Kate the tip personally. Addressing the head of NBC Universal, the broadcaster behind Suits, Biotulin revealed that they would pay a huge fee for product placement on the show. They tweeted: "Att. Steve Burke: We are again offering you 5 million $ for a 5 sec. appearance of Meghan Markle with our biological Botox gell BIOTULIN in your TV series 'Suits'. "Pls. check our offer with her agent. #biotulin @NBCUnivrsal #Stephenbburker @nbc @nbcnews".Meghan Markle’s first job after stepping down as working royal revealed as Disney role is confirmed
