Memphis street named in Young Dolph’s honor

The City of Memphis has named a street to honor Young Dolph, the rapper and hometown hero who was killed last month.

Adolph “Young Dolph” Thornton, Jr. Avenue now runs on Dunn Avenue between Airways Blvd and Hays Road in the Castalia Heights neighborhood, where the rapper was raised. The street sign was revealed during a ceremony on Wednesday; see a picture below.
