Mosimann And Tribbs Join Forces On Powerful Summery Single, ‘Halo’

So, Summer is gone, I heard you say? Not so fast. We’ve still got plenty of warmth and sunsets on beachy paradises thanks to Swiss star Mosimann, who’s just transitioned his highly successful viral concept, the Dream Track series, into a mainstream musical venture. His new single, ‘Halo‘, in collaboration with Polish artist Tribbs, marks the first official release to emerge from this chapter.

The brilliant concept of Dream Track has seen Mosimann share weekly episodes since early 2024. In each instalment, he asks a guest a key question: “What would your dream track sound like?”. He then produces the song from the very beginning, on camera, before revealing the final result. The series has already attracted a number of artists and celebrities, with guests including Rita Ora, Craig David, Alan Chabat, and Bob Sinclar all featuring so far.

‘Halo’

Until now, the creations from the Dream Track concept had existed solely within the online sphere. This changes with the release of ‘Halo’, born from the partnership between Mosimann and hitmaker Tribbs. The single opens with a distinct piano motif that samples Frédéric Chopin. And from this foundation it builds into a true dancefloor gracer.

Blending very modern-day sounds with an old-school feel and subtle percussion, ‘Halo’ is the perfect combination of the best of yesteryear and what makes today’s songs infectious. A gentle singalong vocal invites you to join in on the fun, even more so given the fact that it’s a bunch of voices singing a very easily memorisable melody.

There’s a bit of everything, many elements borrowed from more commercial kinds of Pop; therefore, it’s a great entry point for those who don’t really know this beautiful world of Dance music yet. And the icing on the cake is this very 2025-ish gentle chopped lead driving the drops, a sound which, although subtle, anchors it to a point in time which feels just right. It dreams of golden sunsets and warm open-air clubbing memories.
