NenaHalena is gaining recognition for his unique fusion of Afro-house and Latin-house, steeped in the vibrant rhythms of Brazilian street music.

Emerging in the mid-1990s from the northwest of England, he honed his skills on Technics 1210 turntables, combining his passion for percussion with the rich sounds of house and techno. His distinct sound has since made him a key figure in electronic music, with a growing presence on the global stage.

From the Underground to Global Recognition

Blending the rhythmic complexity of Brazilian street music with electronic traditions, he has built a reputation as a prolific producer and collaborator, contributing to numerous artists’ careers while steadily growing his own. His live performances are a particular highlight, merging DJing with live electronic drumming to create immersive, carnival-like atmospheres reminiscent of Berlin’s underground clubs.

The past year saw NenaHalena release music on some of the industry’s most prominent labels, including Armada, Sol Selectas, and Stil Vor Talent. Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be even bigger. He has confirmed releases with Chris Lake’s Black Book Records, HUGEL’s Make The Girls Dance, and Get Physical Music.
