On Monday, Playboi Carti posted on Instagram announcing that he “turned in” a new album, presumably to his label Interscope Records. See the post below:
The project could be Whole Lotta Red, Carti’s highly anticipated third album. The album was announced in August 2018 and its drop date has been the subject of intense speculation. “I could be done if I wanted to,” Carti said in his June 2019 FADER cover story, “I’m just trying to top shit.”
In April, Carti shared a new single called “@ MEH.”
