Seven Lions returns today with his new single, ‘Free’, the second release from his upcoming EP The Dreams Strange and Eternal, due May 1 on Ophelia Records. The release also includes a fan remix contest tied to the track. Listen here.

‘Free’ continues the mythic sound and narrative introduced in his 2025 album Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars, while pushing into new emotional and stylistic territory. The EP serves as a companion piece, expanding the same universe and aesthetic established on the album. The track blends elements of Seven Lions’ signature style, combining trance melodies, euphoric vocals, and melodic dubstep drops with touches of piano house. The result moves across genres while maintaining the emotional intensity that defines his work.

As the second single from the EP, ‘Free’ offers a deeper look at the project’s scope while staying connected to the album’s broader storyline.

The release arrives ahead of Seven Lions’ North American tour, where he will bring the Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars world to major venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Brooklyn Storehouse, and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
