Wynn Nightlife has dropped “The Year of Excess,” a short cinematic film produced entirely in-house at Wynn Las Vegas. Narrated by Rob Riggle, it captures the raw intensity of Vegas nightlife without holding back. The piece follows 14 high-profile DJs through a series of over-the-top scenes set across Wynn and Encore properties. Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, Diplo, Mau P, Hugel, Kaskade, ODESZA (in a DJ set), SOFI TUKKER, and others appear in vignettes that include alpacas roaming the golf course, rooftop workouts on the signature architecture, champagne used as graffiti medium by a noted artist, caviar served poolside in baths, and more surreal, high-end chaos. The project came together over six months under the Wynn Nightlife creative marketing team, with concept work led by Emilio Gonzales and Alex Schenberg. Instead of standard residency rollout announcements, they built this as a standalone visual statement—pushing the usual promo format into something more ambitious and unapologetic. Here’s what Ryan Jones, Senior Vice President of Wynn Nightlife had to say about the film: Wynn Nightlife has always believed that great entertainment speaks for itself. “The Year of Excess” is the purest expression of that belief, as a visual piece that celebrates our artists, our venues, and the city of Las Vegas. “Whether it brings people through our doors or simply reminds them why Las Vegas is unlike anywhere else in the world, that’s a win for all of us” “Following the launch of the cinematic piece, we hope “The Year of Excess” creates a feeling; One that honors its venues, the artists who define them, the city that inspires everything and an invitation to experience what comes next,” said Alex Schenberg, Creative Marketing of Wynn Nightlife.Wynn Nightlife Unveils Short Film ‘The Year of Excess’
