Once upon a time, electro-house was king. One of the groups sitting atop the music mountain at the time were MSTRKRFT. Today, we present a reimagining of one of their biggest tracks alongside John Legend called ‘Heartbreaker‘, by none other than Biscits. Biscits is a Tech/House producer from Southampton UK, whose honestly been on quite the streak lately. If events were going on, I’m positive his track, ‘The Worm,’ would be tearing up dancefloors around the world. With that being said, take a listen to his new tune, ‘From The Start‘, which I’m sure would be following suit. ‘From The Start’ starts off simple enough with your typical ‘boots & cats’ which are shortly joined by a groovy bass-line. Soon enough, a few more elements come in, and at 1:19 we get the vocals. The melancholic vocals are by an unnamed female singer which sets the vibe for the remainder of the track. At 2:05 the drop is graced with the addition of a sweet, thick synth, that I can’t help but pull out my “dance hands” for. With a runtime of 3:20, this one seems longer than it really is.
