With over 70,000 attendees, the BPM festival is one of the biggest events inside the EDM industry. Its 3-day party is almost unmatchable. After the tragic incident that took place in Playa del Carmen, where the festival had been held for years, the organizers made a decision. The festival moved onto a new location in Portimão, Portugal. Now, this year, the BPM festival is ready for a new move.

BPM Heading To Malta!

With over 300 sun days per year, amazing beaches, and an all-around nice feeling, Malta is a perfect and obvious choice. The people’s reaction to the announcement made on Facebook have been positive all around. As Europe approaches an ending to the situation America is currently facing, a return to normality seems more and more realistic.

So far, there’s no information regarding the decision to head to Malta. Naturally, the current situation creates doubts and questions all around. However, Malta is set to open it’s frontiers on July the 15th, so entering the country shouldn’t be a problem. Then again, as of today, many countries, Mexico and the USA included, can not travel to Europe. It is undeniable that these two countries contribute in an important way to the attendance numbers registered at European Festivals.

The announcement comes as a surprise. We were certainly not expecting that. However, staying positive is all we can do. With enough luck and caution, restrictions will be lifted by September and traveling tho the BPM’s festival latest edition will be possible for everyone. Right now, it is up to us. Remember to stay at home. Go out only when necessary. Always use a facemask. Follow every instruction. BPM is not the only 2020 festival. However, it is one of the industry’s favorites. And hopefully, with enough luck, we’ll all be dancing on Malta when September comes.
