Coachella Reverses COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and Stagecoach are backing off their strict vaccination requirements. According to sources, the music festivals will with different measures in place.

Festive Owl announced the news on social media, revealing the events have quietly reversed their vaccination policy. With this change, attendees will no longer need to be vaccinated. Instead, negative COVID-19 tests (within 72 hours) and vaccination proofs will grant festival-goers entry into the festivals.

Coachella also shared an update on their official Instagram story about the reversal of the vaccination requirements. The statement states:

“After seeing first-hand the low transmission data and successful implementation of safety protocols at our other festivals this past month, we feel confident that we can update our health policy…”

In August, Coachella promoters , requiring residents to have proof of getting the needle at all their events. However, it seems the company is falling back on its decision by making a change to its safety measures.

This news comes just shortly after the at bars, arenas, and nightclubs. Starting on November 4, patrons will be required to enforce this new mandate. Those who don’t will be subject to fines.
