Courtney Barnett announces new album <I>Things Take Time, Take Time</i> Mia Mala McDonald

Courtney Barnett has confirmed details of her third studio album Things Take Time, Take Time, due November 12 on Mom+Pop Music / Marathon Artists. The album is preceded by new song “Rae Street,” streaming below, and news of a North American tour.

Things Take Time, Take Time was recorded toward the end of 2020 and early 2021 between Sydney and Melbourne with producer/drummer Stella Mozgawa. It is described in a statement as “a sonic collage of deeply personal snapshots of Barnett at a particularly joyful time in her life.”

Barnett released debut album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit in 2015 with follow-up Tell Me How You Really Feel arriving in 2018. In 2017 Barnett teamed up with Kurt Vile to release collaborative album Lotta Sea Lice.
