Last September Insomniac a new aimed squarely at the house heads amongst us. This festival, was none other than Day Trip — an offshoot of their Day Trip series of shows. Pre-quarantine, these were routinely held at Los Angeles’ venues such as & , respectively. During, we were graced with a number of Day Trip / Night Trip drive-ins, which were honestly pretty great. Initially, Day Trip festival was slated to be just a one-day affair but has since been expanded to two days. If you’re into house music, this is huge. Today, we are happy to announce that the lineup is officially here! If you’ve been following house music for any amount of time, you’d know just how quickly some artists can pop up, and become “must-sees” at your next festival. Day Trip Festival is full of such artists. First, you have hot talents such as SOFI TUKKER, John Summit, Vintage Culture, and Meduza. Then you have mainstays like Dombresky, Tchami, AC Slater, and Noizu. In addition to this, you also have legends like Chromeo, Claptone, Nora En Pure, & even Diplo. It should be noted that the festival features acts such as ARTBAT, LP Giobbi, and Lee Foss as well. It is easy to see that there is a little something here for everyone. The festival also features some very special b2b sets which I would not want to miss for the world. Day Trip founder will also be manning the decks, so be on the lookout for that. It should be noted that those who originally purchased tickets for the single day of Day Trip for July 3 will have first access to tickets during a special pre-sale. If this applies to you, be sure to check your email. They will also be automatically added to waitlist for the July 4 date. Potential attendees should keep in mind that the Day Trip July 3 date is sold out. With that being said, all remaining tickets for the second day are set to go on sale Friday, May 28 at 12pm PT. In conclusion, Day Trip Festival is set to take place July 3-4 2021. It will be held at the new LA Waterfront venue, Berth 46 in San Pedro, Ca. Berth 46 is an open-air venue and is set to feature multiple stages of tantalizing house music. This is a 21+ event. The venue is located at 3011 Miner Street in San Pedro, California, and is located just outside of Long Beach, CA.
