Detroit's Movement Festival Pushed Back To September – EDMTunes

September and October of 2020 are going to be busy if and when all of this slows down. Festival after festival are doing the right thing during this time and canceling or postponing their events. Today, we learned that Movement Music Festival in Detroit has made the same decision.

The techno festival has decided on the September 11th-13th weekend to move to. They explained that after talking to city officials and also the many of the artists booked to play, that weekend was collectively agreed upon.

Movement then went on and provided options to 2020 ticket holders. If the individual bought a ticket for 2020, it will be honored for the September date. If the person is not able to attend in September, the ticket is also valid for 2021. Additionally, if neither of those options work, Movement is offering a refund. The festival will reach out to all ticket holders by March 27th with how to proceed with the option they choose.

Lastly, Movement also explains how they understand, during these hard times, that those who opted for the payment plan currently may not be to finish their remaining payments. The festival will still hold on to their respective ticket until attendee is able to make the payment.

We know this is an extremely overwhelming time. Keep doing your best for now. Hang in there!
