Dive Into Michele Garruti’s Dreamy LP Titled Glitch

Michele Garruti, known for his crossovers of classical, jazz and electro music, released his latest work – the album Glitch. His new project is a house for 15 melodies – connected to his life stories that are expressed by tempo and tension felt while listening. As the titles of his songs suggest, Michele Garruti pays tribute to his past and current life events.

The undoubted highlight of the album is dreamy, and the unpredicted anthem “Love in The Time of Virus” – is clearly inspired by the coronavirus outbreak. The track incorporates electro fusions hidden in the background, appearing behind the piano performance. Synths and waves of tunes give a feeling of anxiety and uncertainty, that is calmed down by the intimate and balanced piano performance. Masterpiece.

On the album, Michele Garruti vividly comments on his own experiences. His songs “Siblings,” “Mom,” and “Childhood Memories” channel the love he has for his family, and express his emotional artistry. Even without any vocals and lyrics, listeners can feel his mood and relate to the mood he expresses throughout his compositions.
