glue70 – Dark Days & Time Goes Slow

glue70 is an artist I had never heard of before clicking play on these two tracks but was presently surprised to discover.  His soulful, alternative R&B infused electronic style will resonate heavily with fans of and Tom Misch. His two new tracks “Dark Days” & “Time Goes Slow” blend and hip-hop backbones with a chilled out electronic influence throughout.

Blending his uniquely potent, unmistakable beat work with razor- sharp, intuitive vocal chops, he curiously yet effortlessly flows through and between genres with ingenuity, authenticity and with a skillset of utter expertise. Seemingly able to cover all bases he oozes fluency and fluidity from house to hip hop and jazz to UKG via afro, in his unmistakable and captivatingly chill vibe. All of which is to be decisively displayed later this year in his twelve track LP, 2070. Excited to hear more from this rising start soon enough, the more I dive run these two singles back the more I dig them. Check out a quote regarding “Dark Days” below and under that stream that track and “Time Goes On”. Enjoy!

“This track explores the feeling of isolation and sadness which sometimes passes over us, even when we might be around people like our friends and family, and that this feeling is okay as we all have dark days sometimes.” – glue70
