Golf Clap Drops a Groovy Bassline With ‘Lose It’

Golf Clap – Lose It

Golf Clap has just dropped a timeless house hit with ‘Lose It.’ The Detroit native gets your feet moving right out of the gate as a deep bass-line takes control of the track. As the build-up heightens anticipation the drop keeps the same bass-line but adds crowd favorite lasers to take the mix to the next level. Golf Clap continues to keep the track interesting by evolving it with more layers as the track progresses.

The beat certainly “goes” throughout the entire track. I am a big fan of the second drop that features a mind-bending synth that pulls you in. The vocal chops really give the song a nice human touch. The unique kick throughout really moves the track forward and makes it club-ready! Golf Clap (aka Hugh Cleal) makes his debut on deadmau5’s hau5trap label. Hugh was a past mau5trap collaborator but now has provided the world with his Detroit House flair.

Golf Clap runs his own label in Country Club Disco that is well known for signing the best out there. He had this to say about the track:

The idea behind ‘Lose It’ was to create something simple yet effective and hopefully make it timeless in the process. Most music these days seems overly complicated and I wanted to really drive the point with a super solid baseline and kind of let that speak for itself.

This track adds to Golf Clap’s arsenal of hits including ‘Freak It Out,’ Mystery Scene,’ and ‘Gravitate.’ It is a must check out below!
