This Friday, Brittany Howard of The Alabama Shakes will share Jaime Reworked, a remix album featuring new versions of songs from her 2019 solo album Jamie. She’s assembled quite the roster of talent already: Bon Iver, EarthGang, and Little Dragon have released Jamie remixes, and tracks from Syd, BADBADNOTGOOD, Common, 9th Wonder, Fred again.., and more are all on the way. Today’s remix comes from none other than Childish Gambino, who puts an electro-soul spin on the Grammy-winning song “Stay High.” It’s interesting to see Donald Glover release music as Childish Gambino after insisting that he was retiring the alias after the 2020 album 3.15.20, so who knows what’s happening there.
