The 50HERTZ Club Train will be launched on Friday the 18th of October. In total, eight separate four-hour rides will take place during the upcoming edition of Amsterdam Dance Event, each time allowing 300 passengers to enjoy Top DJs and artists. The train has two club and two chill out wagons and will run for the first time from Amsterdam CS on Friday, October 18 at 12:30 PM. Guests can get close to the artists in an intimate setting around the DJ booth. The lucky ones who manage to get a ticket experience a feeling of exclusivity and connection. Something that is rarely found in the bigger clubs. The 50HERTZ Club Train is an initiative of 50:HERTZ, which has been participating with ADE for years by facilitating various locations for all kinds of labels to organize their showcases. There is collaboration in the field of logistics with Ferdi Douma from Railexperts. He takes care of all logistical aspects regarding the composition of the train and he also arranges everything with ProRail and the NS. The trains depart and end at Amsterdam CS, but the routes go throughout the country. This gives foreign visitors a unique opportunity to experience the largest electronic club festival in the world outside Amsterdam. Railexperts has experience in this area with party trains to Tomorrowland and Sziget in Hungary, among others. “We always have the ambition with our projects to offer people a new special experience. People can now expect something really special. We extend the unique character with a sound experience of Vision Acoustics and by even furnishing the bar range with special products, such as a can of wine, which can be quite useful on a moving train. As far as we are concerned, we do not want it to grow into more days and perhaps even larger trains with additional wagons.” – Rens van Nellestijn (50:HERTZ) During some rides a label organizes their own event on the train, for other rides they work together from their own Drifters concept, where they host one club wagon and the guest label hosts the other. The first ride departs from Amsterdam CS on October 18 at 12:30 PM and ends there at 4:30 PM. The Sunset trip will then be organized between 6:30 PM and 10:30 PM, while from midnight a four-hour night trip will start the night from Friday to Saturday. The sunrise can be celebrated on Saturday, October 19 between 5:30 AM and 9:30 AM. For some it’s an afterparty, for others it’s the start of the weekend. The same itinerary applies on Saturday, October 19, where they will collaborate with Distant from the famous Dutch DJ Mees Salomé for the afternoon. The last trip is on Sunday morning from 5:30 am and is reserved for a co-hosting between DRIFTERS and the Human x Default label of the well-known DJ duo BEDOUIN. Rens van Nellestijn from 50:HERTZ will also be happy to perform under the name Kind of One, together with Mitch de Klein, with whom he has been working on 50:HERTZ projects for years.
