The year 2021 is going to be the year that changes everything in the smartphone market. A new report suggests that Samsung is going to release its Galaxy Z Fold 3 with new elements such as an in-display camera. With Samsung’s first foldable phone, the company got off to a clumsy start. After launching the Fold 2, the company was able to find some success with the model. And now rumors are pointing to the direction the company is headed in with the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The South-Korean company Samsung has put all its efforts to integrate the front-face camera under the display of all its devices. This innovation would help to achieve full-screen devices without the need to incorporate notches. It is not the first phone that has tried to introduce this technology in its devices. ZTE previously introduced the AXON 20 5G model with an in-display camera. Subsequently, we have seen more smartphones that have dabbled with this feature although the quality of the photos is not that great. To solve that issue, Samsung plans to use a “special display design” that widens the pixels over the camera sensor, allowing more light to get through which would allow for a better picture. In addition to this, the Z Fold 3 might also get S-Pen support. Samsung is developing ultra-thin glass technology that could be used to include the digitizer to support the stylus while maintaining the durability of the screen. The device will also have a dedicated slot for S-pen — just like the Note series. Regarding the price, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 was the most expensive smartphone the brand has had since its launch. It is still too early to know the cost of the Fold 3, but we can expect a hefty price tag. Source: 9to5Google Samsung To Launch Galaxy Z Fold 3 with An In-Display Camera
