Serbia’s EXIT Festival Gets 2021 Green Light from Mayor

As a symbol of the country’s victory over the COVID-19 pandemic, EXIT Festival will take place this summer. In fact, the 20th anniversary of the event will go ahead on the original dates, from July 8th to 11th. EXIT Festival will also remain at its original location, which is inside the magnificent Petrovaradin Fortress.

Even though some countries in Europe are not out of the woods yet, Serbia’s future looks as promising as ever since the beginning of the pandemic. Indeed, Serbia has a very successful vaccination campaign. The country’s rate of vaccination is one of the highest in Europe. However, the attendees will have to be vaccinated or present a negative test result. EXIT Festival will provide rapid antigen tests at a low price and will be available at a site near to the grounds. Apparently, testing upon arrival to Serbia will no longer be in place by June. This will make it easier for tourists who want to attend the event.

The lineup for EXIT Festival looks very good. Headliners like , DJ Snake, Eric Prydz, Tyga and Nina Kraviz will perform among others inside Petrovaradin Fortress.

Obviously, Founder and CEO Dušan Kovačević was very excited about the news. “Considering all the difficulties we have been facing for over a year, we already feel that the Big bang of positive energy will create a new dimension of the festival experience and make this year’s EXIT unique in the history of the festival. “However, we must remain responsible in the coming months”. “We’re calling for all of our visitors who have the opportunity to get vaccinated before the festival”.
