Splice and KSHMR have announced the launch of Dharma Studio, a new label partnership built around sample releases and artist-led sound design. The initiative marks a significant evolution in their long-standing relationship, which began nearly a decade ago with the debut of the original Sounds of KSHMR sample pack. The first release under the new banner is Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 5, which will be rolled out in stages on the Splice platform throughout 2026. Unlike previous volumes that arrived as singular, comprehensive packs, this new entry is structured as a set of eight instrument-focused collections. These include drums, drum loops, drum fills, FX, songstarters, instruments, synths, and vocals. The decision to move away from the traditional single-pack format reflects a broader industry shift toward ongoing release cycles. By breaking the content into monthly installments, the partnership aims to provide producers with a steadier flow of material while turning the sample library into a long-term editorial brand. The companies noted that a complete bundle is also currently available through KSHMR’s Dharma Worldwide site. KSHMR was among the first high-profile artists to pioneer the exclusive sample pack model on Splice, effectively tying his artist identity to the sound libraries used by producers worldwide. The success of the series remains robust; Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 3 was reported as the most downloaded pack on the platform in 2025, while Vol. 4 debuted at number one. In a statement regarding the new venture, KSHMR described Dharma Studio as an extension of his existing educational and creative efforts, with a specific focus on integrating more artists into the Splice ecosystem. Splice has framed the partnership as a commitment to transparency and fair compensation for creators, aiming to maintain its position in a market increasingly influenced by AI-assisted discovery and subscription-based models.Splice and KSHMR Launch Dharma Studio Label Partnership
