Listen to a banging track we recently came across. If you know where to look, you’ll begin to notice good music doesn’t always come from your typical chart-topper superstar. Talented people exist on all levels of the industry, and we’re so glad to have given the following artist a play. One artist, mind you, who blew us away with a catchy sound and quite the technique. Meet Staches. Hailing from the country that divides the Americas into two continents, Panama, Staches is starting to make waves in the scene. Having graduated from the Icon Collective Los Angeles in 2020, Staches has developed a fine production style, influenced by a diverse array of artists including Juelz, RL Grime, Pauline Herr, Pluko, and Demotapes. He’s dived into Hardwave, Future Bass, Trap, and Emotional House, putting his focus on creating music that transcends boundaries and connects with listeners on a much deeper level. Even though he’s been diagnosed with Diastrophic Dysplasia, he’s not letting that stop him. Quite the opposite. The second instalment from his forthcoming Echoes of Emotion EP, ‘Haunting’, has its roots in loss, heartbreak, and the haunting echoes of emotional turmoil. A tremendously catchy Trap piece, the single features vocals from Calmin, sitting on top of a bed of moody chords, heavy bass, and leads so intense it won’t be long before you’re all eyes — and ears — on it. “I wrote it back in 2022, and was planning on releasing it that same year, but I had to reorganize my thoughts before putting it out“, says Staches when reflecting on the process behind the track. “As an artist, I aim to create music that resonates on a deep emotional level. ‘Haunting’ is a reflection of the human experience, capturing the beauty found within our struggles and triumphs.” -Staches Listen to Staches’ ‘Haunting’ in full by clicking the Spotify button we’ve provided.
