The Chainsmokers To Remove ‘Kanye’ From All Streaming Platforms

If you haven’t heard, Kanye West made antisemitic remarks over the past few weeks. Many of his endorsement deals with major companies have collapsed. The list is long but it includes Balenciaga, Adidas, Gap, JPMorgan Chase, and many others. It has effectively removed him from billionaire status. The Chainsmokers are the latest to join this list from a music perspective.

The duo will be removing their track ‘Kanye’ from all streaming platforms. This record was released in 2014 and celebrated Kanye. They took to Twitter and an Instagram Story to call out Kanye and his remarks.

On October 9th, Kanye Tweeted “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.” This of course led to huge backlash around the world. But, some of his major endorsements took a while to actually drop him. Adidas is receiving backlash for this. He then went further in during a Drink Champs podcast.

Kanye has been outlandish for years now. It is finally nice to see him getting some consequences for it.
