The Lakers celebrated their NBA Finals win by blasting Chief Keef’s “Faneto”

Last night, The Los Angeles Lakers secured the 2020 NBA Finals with a Game 6 win against the Miami Heat. The resulting locker room celebration had what you’d expect: popped champagne bottles, ski goggles, and lots of jubilant yelling. At one point, a certain song became like gasoline poured on their already ecstatic fire: “Faneto,” the Chicago drill classic by Chief Keef, gave the players a hilarious energy surge, and thankfully it was captured on different Instagram accounts streaming live inside the locker room. Obviously, J.R. Smith is the star, but the LeBron James cameo is priceless. Watch it above, and for more evidence of “Faneto”‘s powers, check out this hour-long compilation of different audiences turning up to the song.
