Tomorrowland Looking Likely As Belgian Govt Greenlights 75K Capacity

The confirmation we’ve been waiting for has arrived. Tomorrowland has the green light to move forward with its late August and Labor Day Weekends. The Belgian government gave the go-ahead for festivals to host 75,000 people (excluding staff), but all attendees would have to be fully vaccinated or provide a negative PCR test. Those unable to present a document for either one will have to undergo an antigen test every other day on-site at the festival.

Test events of 5,000 people will begin after July 30. This comes as Tomorrowland attendees began growing a best restless wondering when Tomorrowland would provide more details about this unique situation for 2021. The festival had been holding back announcements to get more guidance from the authorities about procedures that had to be in place, so we hope those updates will be coming very soon now!

As it stands now, Tomorrowland will take place over August 27-29 and Labor Day Weekend. No lineup has been announced yet, but the festival will be clashing with many others over those weekends.
