The closing night of Glastonbury 2022 featured a headlining set from Kendrick Lamar. Taking place after the release of his new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, the rapper performed a number of new tracks including “N95” and “Silent Hill” as well as hits from across his catalogue like “Humble.”
His performance, which featured backup dancers and a crown of thorns on Lamar’s head, ended with “Saviour” from Big Steppers and a chant: “Godspeed for women’s rights, they judge you, they judge Christ.” The statement made Lamar one of several artists at Glastonbury appearing to address the Supreme Court’s reversal of the constitutional right to an abortion; Megan Thee Stallion and Billie Eilish also discussed the rollback of Roe Vs. Wade during their sets.

Honestly, it's like #KendrickLamar has designer his mind-blowing choreography to trap 40-year-old blokes who've never heard one of his tracks into discovering that his music is, actually, really rather good… #Glastonbury @kendricklamar pic.twitter.com/cDsQkTBjO3 — Tom Barton (@tombarton) June 26, 2022
