It’s always interesting to see artists, who were formerly part of a duo go their own ways. In the past, we’ve seen this from artists like Cutsnake & Fisher, and more recently Golf Clap & Brian Jones, aka Wave Point. Formerly one-half of Golf Clap, the Detroit-based producer Wave Point has come to be known for his unique take on house music. So much so, that over the course of the last year he’s managed to produce an album’s worth of music. Today, we bring you a track off his forthcoming album Higher Dimension, titled ‘In The Moment‘. After having listened to ‘In The Moment’, it’s easy to see how “in his element” Jones is. ‘In The Moment’ starts off quick enough with a classic 4/4 hour beat, and is paired with some beautiful pads. Soon after we get the tunes’ sultry vocals and it is at this point that the mood is set. From here we get some fills, as well as the rest of the synths, and it all honestly goes so well together. If you’re a fan of vocal-driven house music, then this is a tune for you. With a runtime of 4:14, Wave Point’s ‘In The Moment’ is the perfect amount of time to get you grooving.
