ZTE to Launch Axon A20 5G Mobile With In-Display Camera

Chinese technology heavyweight ZTE teased a new smartphone that features a camera under the display. The Axon A20 5G could be the first smartphone in the world that could see this feature introduced as a reality. They also recently shared a teaser, showcasing the appearance of the phone.

On that note, the teaser itself does not reveal much about the specifications of the device. However, what it does give away is the phone does not have a punch-hole cutout or a camera that pops out. In addition, it is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 765G processor. This indicates that a mid-range phone will be the first one to be equipped with the in – display camera feature.

As the name indicates, the device is also 5G enabled with a display spanning across 6.92 inches. It also flaunts a resolution of 1080p with a unique front-facing camera of 32MP. Insiders say that the technology giant has faced multiple challenges to carve out a camera under the display. Consequently, it will be fascinating to see what they have actually come up with and the hype surrounding it.
