ZUSO Presents Heartwarming And Introspective Single ‘Crystal Lights’

Listen to a magnificent track we recently came across.

The spectrum of Dance music is quite the noble crop. It just keeps on giving, and the more you look, the more golden berries you find hanging in the trees. Are you ready to harvest one special fruit? This one is a journey to the inside. Meet ZUSO.

Hailing from The Land Down Under, Gabriel Cuenca embarked on a mission. One that involves crafting the most unique, warm style of Dance imaginable via blending elements and spices from genres such as Progressive House, Breakbeat, and Drum & Bass.

Under the ZUSO brand, he’s developed a sound which could be roughly described as “RÜFÜS DU SOL meets Lane 8 meets Tourist”. That’s quite the statement, but trust me, everything will fall into place once you get to meet his compositions. His latest, you ask? ‘Crystal Lights’.

‘Crystal Lights’

Further diving into the idea of charming music with an electronic outfit, ZUSO’s ‘ Crystal Lights’ is a laid-back, soft, heartwarming Breakbeat track which truly feels like sitting on a little hill, on a cloudy afternoon, watching the world below. By contrasting gated vocal beds with floaty pads, the track teleports you to a place of calm, soother, and self-recognition.

‘Crystal Lights’ was an idea that came about pretty naturally”, says ZUSO. “I wrote the song pretty quickly and I feel it represents [my] sound quite well. I actually took a bit of inspiration from one of my past EPs, Lost In Time, with this one and wanted to bring those feelings of escapism and vivid imagery back”.

“It’s definitely a song you can get lost in and let go of all worries too, and I hope it has the same effect for everyone who listens.”
